Roast Turkey Breast with Sage

A juicy turkey breast roasted to perfection with garlic, herbs, and a touch of fresh sage for an aromatic, flavorful twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless, skin-on turkey breast (about 2-3 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme (or fresh if you have it)
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp dried sage (or 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped)
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1 onion, quartered (optional, for roasting)
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed (optional, for roasting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prep the Turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil all over the turkey breast. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, and sage.
  3. Prepare the Roasting Pan: Place the onion, garlic, and lemon in the bottom of a roasting pan. Place the turkey breast on top, skin-side up.
  4. Roast the Turkey: Roast the turkey breast for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste occasionally with the juices in the pan.
  5. Rest & Serve: Remove the turkey breast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
