Run for The Flavor Collection

From Chef Paddy’s Kitchen

We didn’t grow up throwing Kentucky Derby parties.
But somehow, it became our thing.

It started simple—me, Jackie, and Miss Shaggy P on the couch, picking horses, sipping something cold, and cheering like we had money on the line. And truth be told, Shaggy picked winners more than once. She had a nose for the big moment.

Some years we’d dress up like we were sitting in Millionaires Row—floppy hats, bow ties, even a mint julep or two. Other years were more low-key. A good drink, a couple of snacks, and the same excitement every time the gates opened. It was playful, silly, ours.

And the funny part is—I don’t know the first thing about horses.
The closest I ever got to racing was the one outside Market Basket where you drop a quarter in and hope it doesn’t jam.

But I do know flavor. I know what it means to turn an ordinary day into a memory.

And every single year, I’d say it:
“We should throw a real Derby Day dinner. Go all out.”

And every year, life got in the way.
Work. Dishes. Something else on the calendar.

We never did it.
Until now.

Run for the Flavor is the dinner party we always talked about.
It’s the big hat. The bold dish. The reason to turn up the music and pass the plate.

Not just for me, Jackie, and Shaggy—but for you, too.

This collection is for anyone who’s ever made a small tradition feel like something big.

So whether you’re dressed to the nines or just keeping it classic—this table’s set.

Let’s Get After It.
